LA PLATA, Md. (AP) - A former substitute teacher is now twice convicted of sexually abusing middle schoolers in Maryland.
WTOP-FM reports 32-year-old Keith Allan Krikstan was convicted Thursday of charges including production of child porn and sexual abuse of a minor.
The images were found after students at John Hanson Middle School accused Krikstan of being inappropriate with a girl.
He was convicted in April of sexual abuse of a minor, and now he’s been convicted in the second case.
Prosecutors say Charles County deputies discovered that Krikstan had hidden a camera in a bathroom while babysitting the 12-year-old, and that he also coached her to perform a sexually suggestive video.
Krikstan was removed after students reported his behavior to a school resource officer.
Sentencing in both cases is set for January.
