WINOOSKI, Vt. (AP) - Police say a Vermont woman died nine days after she was seriously hurt in a fire at a senior housing complex in Winooski.
Mychamplainvalley.com reports 62-year-old Christine Arena was hospitalized on Nov. 11 with life-threatening injuries after firefighters were unable to reach her second-floor apartment at the Residence at Great Cedars.
The fire was considered accidental. The complex was briefly evacuated.
