Person found dead after car erupts in flames

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (AP) - One person was found dead after a car erupted in flames in a Federal Way park.

KOMO-TV reports firefighters and medics responded to the scene, inside Celebration Park, at around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Lt. Brad Chaney of South King Fire & Rescue says the car was engulfed in flames when the first crews arrived.

Chaney says the fire was extinguished and one person was found dead inside the vehicle.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
