LOS ANGELES (AP) - A 20-year-old man is charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated following a Los Angeles crash that killed two teenagers who were passengers in his pickup.

The district attorney’s office says Pablo Roman Trujillo Carrasco pleaded not guilty on Tuesday and was ordered to return to court Nov. 27.

Police said the Chevy truck veered into oncoming traffic and smashed into a van in Winnetka early Sunday.

The truck then rolled over, struck two parked cars and left the two passengers trapped inside.

Sixteen-year-old Louis Perez and 19-year-old Cesar Perez were killed.
