EAST PENNSBORO, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a house fire in a central Pennsylvania community spread to two other residences, displacing a dozen people but causing no injuries.

The fire in East Pennsboro was reported around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday. Firefighters soon arrived on scene, but the blaze quickly spread to two other homes before the fires were brought under control.

Authorities say 12 people overall - eight adults and four children - and several pets were able to escape the homes unharmed.



The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
