AUBURN, Calif. (AP) - A small plane has flipped over at a Northern California airport but the pilot escaped with only minor injuries.

It happened Monday afternoon at Auburn Municipal Airport, northeast of Sacramento.

Airport officials say the pilot was making a “touch-and-go” landing when his single-engine plane stalled and went down, flipping upside down.

Fire officials say the man had only minor injuries.
