Body found on beach in Yachats identified

YACHATS, Ore. (AP) - A man who was found dead on the beach in Yachats has been identified at 43-year-old Michael Clift.

Clift was found Thursday and the cause of death is still under investigation.

The Newport resident was pronounced dead at the scene.

No more information was immediately available.
