JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say the shooting of a 16-year-old boy during a spring football game in Florida was most likely gang-related.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s officials tell news outlets that the boy was shot Friday night during the game between Terry Parker High School and Ribault High School.

He was listed critical condition at UF Health Jacksonville.

Chief of Investigations T.K. Waters says detectives identified several people of interest but no arrests were made. The shooting happened four minutes before the game ended on Friday night.

Detectives are continuing to investigate.
