BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Graduates from the University of Vermont will be getting their degrees this weekend.
The main commencement takes place on Sunday while the graduate college commencement is on Saturday.
UVM says the weather report calls for showers but says since there is no indication of severe weather the main graduation ceremony and the College of Arts and Sciences ceremony will be held outside on the university green.
The school says its eight colleges and schools will hold individual ceremonies throughout the day.
A total of more than 3,200 graduates are getting degrees. That includes an estimated 2,580 bachelor degrees that will be awarded.
Most of the Vermont State Colleges are also holding graduations this weekend.
