CAMBRIDGE, Vt. (AP) - Another sign of spring: Vermont Route 108 through Smugglers Notch from Stowe to Cambridge is once again open to traffic.
The steep, windy road is closed to traffic in the autumn when snow makes the road impassable and reopens in the spring when the snow has melted.
It was a snowy winter. The road reopened five days later than last year.
