Investigators say Vermont barn fire is suspicious

TOWNSHEND, Vt. (AP) - Fire investigators in Vermont say a blaze that destroyed a barn appears to be suspicious.

Police say the Townshend fire happened around 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning and they haven’t yet determined its cause. WCAX-TV reports the barn and all of its contents are a total loss.

Crews arrived to the scene to find the two-story barn looking like it was about to collapse. Numerous other fire departments assisted the Townshend Fire Department in fighting the fire.
