CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Gun advocates are rallying outside the New Hampshire Statehouse to protest what they call “an unparalleled attack” on their natural rights.
Members of the Women’s Defense League, New Hampshire Three Percenters and ProGun New Hampshire are hosting a “Hold the Line” rally from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Organizers say the goal is to join forces against the weakening of the state Constitution.
Lawmakers are considering several gun control bills this session, including one that would allow family members or law enforcement officers to seek a court order restricting gun access to those posing an immediate risk to themselves or public safety. Another bill would allow school districts to create gun-free zones.
