BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Agricultural Products Utilization Commission is considering funding requests from six projects this quarter.
The group better known as APUC funds developers of North Dakota farm products. The money is typically used for research, marketing, farm diversification, ag tourism and technology.
The commission is meeting later this month in Bismarck to review grant requests totaling nearly $419,000.
The largest request of $132,000 is from a tomato operation in Underwood that wants to do marketing and feasibility research. North Dakota State University has two grant requests, for projects at its Carrington research center and its plant sciences department.
