PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Weather officials say the winter storm dropped eight inches of snow or more on parts of Pennsylvania.
The National Weather Service says trained spotters reported eight inches in Emmaus and seven inches or more in other areas of Lehigh, Northampton and Berks counties. More than six inches was reported in parts of Montgomery and Chester counties in the Philadelphia suburbs.
During the storm, a car went off an eastern Pennsylvania road and crashed into a tree, killing two people and injuring a third. Snow was falling when the crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Milford Township, about 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Philadelphia, but police said the cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
