Former Vice President Joseph Biden and Sen. Bernard Sanders both currently lead President Trump in hypothetical matchups for the 2020 presidential election among Pennsylvania voters, according to a new poll.

An Emerson College survey released Friday suggested both men would receive 55 percent of Pennsylvania’s vote if elections were held today, defeating Mr. Trump by a 10 percent margin in a hypothetical election.

This comes after a Quinnipiac poll found Mr. Biden and Mr. Sanders currently lead the field of Democratic presidential candidates.

Mr. Biden hasn’t announced whether or not he will run for president in 2020.

Other candidates held smaller leads against the president.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts won a mock election by a 4 percent margin over Mr. Trump, Sen. Kamala D. Harris of California held a 3-point lead, and former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke won with a slight 2-point lead over the president.

A majority of Pennsylvania voters overall said they “were not likely” to vote for the president at 55 percent; 45 percent said they would be inclined to vote for Mr. Trump.

The poll was conducted among 808 registered voters from March 26-28 with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
