NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - A worker has been electrocuted at a construction site on the South Carolina coast.

North Myrtle Beach spokesman Pat Dowling told news outlets the victim was standing below a crane holding a guy wire that touched a live wire around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The victim’s name has not been released yet while relatives are notified.

Dowling says a worker in the bucket of the crane was hot hurt.

He said workers were rebuilding a home that had been burned in a fire.

Horry County Coroner Robert Edge said an autopsy was planned.

Dowling said the Occupational Safety and Health Administration will investigate the death.
