HURRICANE, W.Va. (AP) - A fire has damaged parts of Fat Patty’s restaurant in Hurricane, West Virginia.

The Herald-Dispatch reports that flames could be seen shooting out of the eatery’s roof Monday morning.

Several Putnam County fire departments responded and crews had to stretch a hose across a highway to extinguish the blaze after it was called in at around 8 a.m.



The paper reports that the restaurant’s roof and kitchen were damaged.
