MIAMI (AP) - Authorities say a Florida man fell asleep while driving and crashed into a store.
The Miami Herald reports that the crash occurred Tuesday morning at a shopping plaza.
Miami police say the man was driving home after working an overnight shift when his car jumped a curb and slammed into dd’s Discounts.
Officials say the store wasn’t open yet, so no customers were injured. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the driver would be cited for the crash.
