Perhaps New Yorkers will rest easy now that police have nabbed the city’s “#ilovetrump” graffiti suspect.

NYPD and MTA recently teamed up to build a plywood “dummy wall” in a Brooklyn subway station to bait a marker-wielding supporter of President Trump.

Department transit Chief Edward Delatorre confirmed the arrest on Tuesday.

“The MTA put up a dummy wall,” Mr. Delatorre said The New York Post reported. “The officers hid behind the wall and when the perp came back, they jumped out and grabbed him.”

“Transit cops took turns lying in wait behind the door in their spare time [since March 12],” the newspaper reported.

Cops did not immediately identify the suspect.
