BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say a 31-year-old man has died in a shooting in Massachusetts that left another man injured and homes riddled with bullets.

The Plymouth district attorney says Marco Rodrigues was pronounced dead at a hospital after the shooting in Brockton just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

Friends tell the Enterprise that the Fall River man was a popular entertainer in the area who performed as DJ Marco Polo.

Police say at least four houses were struck by bullets, and another victim was dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound.

First responders found Rodrigues at about 5 a.m. behind a closed restaurant after police received a call from a family member.

No arrests have been made.

The death was Brockton’s first homicide of the year.

An investigation is ongoing.
