TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson say they are investigating a shooting involving an officer that has left a man with life-threatening injuries.
They say an officer conducted a traffic stop on a car about 2 a.m. Sunday and was shot at by the driver.
Police say the man fired several rounds at the officer and the two exchanged gunfire.
The officer wasn’t injured, but the driver was wounded and taken to a hospital.
His name and age weren’t immediately released.
