BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi officials remind anglers that the commercial fishing season for Red Drum will close in the state’s territorial waters at 11:59 p.m. Thursday.

Officials with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources say the annual total allowable catch for the species is 60,000 pounds (27,215 kilograms).

The season opened Sept. 1.
