WELLINGTON, Fla. (AP) - Fire officials in Florida say three horses have died in a barn fire.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokesman Albert Borroto said in an email that one firefighter and two Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies received minor injuries while trying to rescue between 14 and 18 other horses from the barn early Thursday.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
Wellington is near West Palm Beach.
