LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Los Angeles Fire Department says scaffolding collapsed outside a six-story building, causing minor injuries to several people.
The department says the collapse occurred just before 2 a.m. Wednesday in Hollywood and falling debris struck people sleeping nearby.
Two adults were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries and another person was treated on the scene and released.
The city Department of Building and Safety was summoned to investigate.
It’s not known whether the collapse was related to strong winds that swept parts of Southern California overnight.
