ST. LOUIS (AP) - Bystanders are credited with saving two men from a burning car in St. Louis.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the men were in a Ford Mustang traveling on North Kingshighway around 4 p.m. Monday when the vehicle drove onto a raised median and then a tree.
As it was engulfed in flames, bystanders pulled the driver and passenger from the burning car.
The 31-year-old driver is in critical but unstable condition. The 35-year-old passenger is in critical but stable condition. Their names have not been released.
