LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Stay firm on North Korea

OPINION:

Everyone needs to remember that North Korea only has nuclear weapons because China (and to some extent Russia) allowed them to.

President Trump walking out on negotiations with North Korea last month was just as much a message to China as it was to Kim Jong-un.

A peaceful outcome is advantageous to everyone, but it is also important to hold the line at 100 percent denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. Nothing less will be acceptable.
