There’s a clear trend at play when pro-life males debate pro-choice advocates: Many of the latter argue that men shouldn’t be allowed to have an opinion on abortion, that it concerns only women. But this issue is far more complicated than the argument that the government ought to leave a women’s body alone. It is about the life inside of the woman that is in question.

The duty of the government and all people is to protect and save lives. “Pro-life” means you are for for the protection of lives. No one, whether female or male, should have a right to abort a life. Only in extreme cases of rape, incest and the need to save the life of the mother should abortion be an option. Those cases are few and far between. Most aborted pregnancies are unwanted ones that came about due to irresponsible behavior. The solution to unwanted pregnancies should be education, not abortion. Most people who are “pro-choice” are actually pro-abortion.
