CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Police in North Carolina say they are investigating a shooting that left a pregnant woman and her child facing life-threatening injuries.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said a 19-year-old pregnant woman was shot in a parking lot of a shopping center Saturday. The woman was transported to a local hospital where her baby was delivered. Police said both face life-threatening injuries.
Police did not immediately identify the woman and are asking the public for help in providing any relevant information about the shooting.
