GERMAN, Pa. (AP) - State police say a collision between a dump truck and a pickup truck in western Pennsylvania has left three people dead, including a 4-year-old boy.

Troopers in Fayette County say the tri-axle dump truck and the pickup collided on Route 21 in German Township just before 4 p.m. Tuesday, killing three people in the pickup.

Police said 53-year-old Ronald Burwell of Uniontown was dead at the scene. Twenty-year-old Kayla Burwell was rushed to Uniontown Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Four-year-old Hunter Braddee was removed from the back seat but died a short time later. The 46-year-old dump truck driver was uninjured.



The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
