OPINION:
For the past three decades we’ve heard the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, politicians and economists complain about our trade imbalances around the world, especially with China — yet no president has ever played the long game of tariffs to force these countries into fair and reciprocal trading partnerships. Until President Trump.
Now these same fools cry about their projected doom and gloom for the American economy because of the tariffs Mr. Trump has imposed on China. China dumps cheap garbage into America through unfair trade practices, manipulation of currency and hiding the origination of products with international shell companies to circumvent tariffs. Those who have always benefited from exploiting America are worried that the president’s efforts to fix this trade imbalance will have dire consequences for Wall Street, banks, retail giants and globalists. Where is the American patriot in telling these people to jump in a lake? At what point will America defend against the theft of intellectual property and trademark infringement?
Use your critical thinking skills and realize that President Trump is standing tall for America, stopping the decades of victimization facilitated by corrupt politicians, bankers, international businesses and others who don’t give two cents about the American worker or consumer. The America-first agenda is not a “coded agenda” for white nationalism or isolationism. It is an agenda to stop those who do not have the American people’s best interests at heart.
