Thunder GM Presti, wife donate $600,000 to hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Thunder general manager Sam Presti and his wife, Shannon, have donated $600,000 to The Children’s Hospital at OU Medicine.

OU Medicine made the announcement Thursday in a news release.

The donation will fund renovations and technology upgrades in Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Children and the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at The Children’s Hospital. A new interactive space in the east lobby of The Children’s Hospital will include updated indoor and outdoor areas for patients and families.

OU Medicine provides medical services to the region. OU Children’s physicians representing most pediatric specialties see patients at the hospital and clinics throughout the state.
