LACONIA, N.H. (AP) - Firefighters in New Hampshire have come to the aid of a man whose pickup truck struck several parked vehicles at a restaurant and then headed into nearby Lake Opechee, where it became partially submerged.

The Laconia Fire Department got the 82-year-old driver out safely Monday night and took him to a hospital for minor injuries.

Laconia Police Chief Matthew Canfield told WMUR-TV the driver had some kind of cardiac incident immediately before driving into the lake.
