In the late 1940s, Congress amended the U.S. Constitution to limit presidential terms to only two. They forgot to limit themselves to two terms as well.

The reason members of Congress are so out of touch with the voters is because they view their seats almost as lifetime jobs or personal fiefdoms. People such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have been in office too long, and it’s high time to boot them out of office. The only way we can do that is to impose congressional term limits by again amending the Constitution.
