OPINION:
The get-Trump mania pretty much began when Hillary Clinton threw her notorious snit fit, refusing to concede that she had her political can kicked through the uprights from midfield by a brash, non-professional-but-better-organized outsider in the 2016 presidential election.
When it came down to plotting a coup d’etat against a legally elected leader, it is now perfectly clear that the folks in Hillary’s campaign and the Democratic Party ginned up the whole Russia hoax. Then, after squandering $2 million in Democratic donor dollars on the infamous “Steele Dossier,” they proved themselves to be even more incompetent.
In his novel, “The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight,” Jimmy Breslin mentions one Kid Sally Palumbo, a would-be capo who “couldn’t run a gas station at a profit even if he stole the customers’ cars.” Breslin could well have been talking about the Democratic Party that so desperately believes it has the skills to lead and govern the United States of America.
