SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - The school board in South Burlington has voted unanimously to rebuild the middle and high school in one building.

School board member Bridget Burkhardt tells mynbc5.com that building a new facility is more efficient than rehabilitating the two older buildings.

She says the buildings from the 1960s are becoming costly to maintain.

The schools would be in the same building in separate wings.
