MACHIAS, Maine (AP) - The head of campus at University of Maine at Machias is set to leave the school just a year after he started.

The Bangor Daily News reports that head of campus and Vice President of Academic Affairs Andrew Egan plans to step down Aug. 15

Egan was the first person hired from outside the university system to become the campus’s top official since the school became a regional campus in July 2017.



Education professor Daniel Quall will serves as interim vice president for academic affairs and head of campus.
