CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Police in North Carolina have arrested a man who they say has a lengthy and violent criminal history and charged him in the shooting of a city bus driver.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said in a news release on Monday that multiple charges were filed against 57-year-old TB Moss, including attempted first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Police said officers responded to a call at around 12:45 p.m. Authorities said the driver was shot near the city’s transportation center. What appeared to be a bullet hole was visible in the driver’s side window of a bus parked at the transit center.

According to police, Moss is in a domestic relationship with the victim. His status wasn’t immediately available Monday evening.
