BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A boil water notice for some residents of the city of Burlington has been lifted.
Mynbc.com reports that the Burlington Public Works Department said Wednesday that sample water results showed no signs of contamination.
City officials on Tuesday had advised residents of parts of the South End to boil their drinking water or use bottled water until further notice.
The city said an unplanned depressurization of part of the water distribution system happened overnight. It said it issued the notice out of an abundance of caution.
