UTICA, N.Y. (AP) - Murder victim Bianca Devins was remembered at her funeral as a talented and generous girl whose smile could light up a room.

The 17-year-old was eulogized Friday at a Utica church. She was described as an artist, aspiring model and animal lover.

The man charged with killing her and posting photos of her body online was transferred from a hospital to an upstate New York jail on Thursday.

Brandon Andrew Clark was arrested after Utica Police found him next to Devins’ body outside a vehicle Sunday.

Police say the 21-year-old slit Devins’ throat then stabbed himself in the neck and took selfies on a tarp covering her body.

It could not be determined if Clark has a lawyer to comment on his behalf.
