BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Senate killed legislation that would require drug testing of teachers, administrators and school board members.

The Senate voted killed the two companion bills Thursday.

Education officials say the measures are likely unconstitutional and would be a big cost to school districts. They also say there is no evidence of widespread drug use by school officials in North Dakota.
