GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) - A San Diego developer is planning to build a massive mixed-use property in Goodyear.

Sunbelt Land Holdings announced Tuesday that the company has purchased 36 acres for $6 million.

The land sits near the interchange of Interstate 10 and Bullard Road.

The developer says it is seeking out retailers and restaurants to be a part of the proposed project, which will also include multifamily residences.

The site is next to the future location of a hotel.
