WOOLWICH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - State police say a chartered bus caught fire while traveling on the New Jersey Turnpike, but no injuries were reported.

There were 23 passengers aboard the New York City-bound bus when the fire broke out around 9:20 p.m. Sunday near Exit 2 and milepost 12.8 in Woolwich Township. Everyone aboard the bus got out safely, and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze a short time later.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
