NEW YORK (AP) - A woman was killed and a man injured after a car driving the wrong way crashed through a wall and off an embankment.
Authorities responded to Riverside Drive and 155th Street around 4 a.m. Sunday to find an overturned vehicle on fire inside a cemetery.
The woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The 37-year-old man who was a passenger was hospitalized.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation shows the woman was going the wrong way on 155th Street when she hit another car and then crashed through a brick wall.
The car then plummeted about 20 feet and landed on its roof.
