FOREST CITY, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say at least 10 people were taken to hospitals after a collision on a rural road in northern Iowa.
The crash occurred just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, about 5 miles (8 kilometers) northwest of Forest City. Authorities say a southbound vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a northbound vehicle.
Iowa State Patrol investigators think alcohol consumption may have been a factor. The 10 injured ranged from 18 to 22 years of age.
