Deputies: Man charged after man was shot, died in crash

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Authorities in South Carolina say a man has been arrested after another man was shot and later died in a vehicle crash.

The State of Columbia reports Richland County deputies and the U.S. Marshals arrested 43-year-old Correy Termaine Brown without incident Monday. He was charged with murder after the Dec. 29 death of 37-year-old Donald Antonio Young.

Authorities said in a statement that troopers from the South Carolina Highway Patrol were called to a single car crash on Dec. 29. Young was found dead on the scene, and a gunshot wound was later found in his upper body.

It’s unclear if Brown has a lawyer who could comment.
