MIAMI (AP) - Authorities say about two dozen people were treated for pepper spray exposure at a Florida high school.

The Miami Herald reports that rescue workers responded Thursday morning to G. Holmes Braddock High School near Miami. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue reports treating 25 people, but no one was hospitalized.

School officials say a student had the pepper spray in a backpack, and it accidentally discharged. Having the pepper spray was a violation of school policy, and officials say the student would be disciplined.
