ALBION, N.Y. (AP) - Police say two elderly people have been injured in a house fire and possible explosion in upstate New York.
Emergency crews were called to the fire in the Village of Albion around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday.
They arrived to find the home fully engulfed and a man and woman outside with burns.
One person was taken to a nearby hospital by helicopter and the other by ambulance.
The extent of their injuries has not been released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Albion is located about 40 miles (64 kilometers) west of Rochester.
