FORT PAYNE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a woman died in a house fire in Alabama.
DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tyler Pruett tells Al.com that 75-year-old Wilma Green Dover of Sand Rock was killed in the early Wednesday fire. Authorities say two other people made it out of the home alive. Pruett says investigators do not suspect foul play.
Sheriff Nick Welden said in a statement that this is a tragic event and that the department has the family in their prayers as they try to cope with the tragedy.
