SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police say an incident involving an armed man who suffered a mental health crisis at a South Burlington hotel has been resolved.

South Burlington police issued a news release at about 6 a.m. Wednesday saying everyone is safe at the Double Tree hotel, but “a strong public safety presence” was needed.

Dozens of police officers were at the hotel. Police say negotiators were brought in and the man peacefully surrendered.

No one was injured.
