SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (AP) - Two north Mississippi students could face school discipline or criminal charges after officials say they carried a BB gun onto a school bus
WREG-TV reports the incident happened Thursday a bus carrying Southaven Intermediate School students.
Desoto County school district officials say the students were referred to local police and will face disciplinary action as a result of the incident.
The students’ names are not being released because they are juveniles.
The school includes third through fifth grades. It’s one of more than 40 schools in what is Mississippi’s largest school district, located in the suburbs of Memphis, Tennessee.
